The word

Qalib, قالب: the shoemaker's last: the wooden form a shoe is built around.

Every shoe in the world is built around a last. The name is the oldest word at the bench, and it is the only name this edition carries. There is no logo on the shoe. There is a number, hand-stamped on the insole and written in a bound ledger beside the date you were fitted and the initials of the karigar who made it.

Register to open the catalogue

The catalogue is shown by name.

Leave your name and an email. That opens the eight designs, the specification and the price, and it puts you on the list that hears first on the day the edition opens for appointments. Nothing is charged, and nothing is reserved until you have been fitted.

We write to you about this edition and nothing else. Every letter carries a way to stop.

Why the catalogue is shown by name. Thirty pairs is not a shop. Each one is cut for one person after a fitting, so the people who see the designs are the people we will be writing to on the day the edition opens. Your name and an email are all it takes, and you can stop hearing from us with one click on any letter.
