Finding Your Size
Every pair is painted on a brand-new Nike Air Force 1 in your size. Because the artwork is applied once and the pair is yours alone, we confirm your size with you in writing before a single drop of paint touches the leather.

Conversions follow Nike’s own published sizing, and the cm column is the figure Nike prints on the box. Measure your foot heel to longest toe, then choose the row a little above it rather than the one that matches exactly: a foot needs room in front of it. Between two sizes, size up. We confirm your fit in writing before we paint, and if a shoe has never quite fitted you we would rather measure you properly than have you guess.
Measure Your Foot
Three minutes with a sheet of paper beats guessing. Measure both feet in the evening, when they are at their largest, and use the longer one.
Adjusting for Your Foot Shape
- Normal foot
- Your usual size
- If your everyday trainers fit well, order that size.
- Long toes
- Half to one size up
- A longer big toe needs room at the front.
- Wide foot
- Half to one size up
- The Air Force 1 comes in one width, so on a wide foot the length is the only thing that can give. Going up buys width by buying length, which is a compromise rather than a fix.
- Narrow foot
- Your usual size
- A narrow foot can slide in a standard fit. Sizing DOWN to stop it is the one change we do not recommend, because a shoe that is short cannot be lived with. Lace it firmly, or tell us and we will talk it through.
- High instep
- Half to one size up
- A tall arch needs volume rather than length, and on a fixed-width shoe the only way to buy volume is to go up.
Between two sizes with no clear answer? Take the larger one: a slightly roomy pair can be worn with thicker socks; a tight one cannot be fixed.
These are a rule of thumb, and a rule of thumb has limits. The Air Force 1 is made in one width, so every shape above is answered here by changing the length, which is a compromise. If shoes have never quite fitted you, or the table above does not describe your foot, we would rather measure you than have you guess.

These are the sizes we still hold, the final blanks of our current Air Force 1 run. When a size finds its owners, it is gone. If yours is not here, your own size is still open to you two ways: post us a pair you already own and we paint those, or have a leather pair made to your measurements, which needs no shelf at all.
