What people bring us
Anime is the largest part of this line by a distance. Shinobi in red clouds, pirate crews, demon slayers, sorcerers, and the long-running shonen series people have followed since they were children. The Akatsuki Itachi pair in this collection is where that started, and Crimson Clouds came out of the same conversation.
After anime comes comics: web-slingers, symbiotes, riders wreathed in flame, and the clown. Anonymous Spider and Bound by Webs are both in the gallery, and Ghost Rider is the piece people stop on most.
Then everything else. Cartoon linework, gaming, film, a footballer's number, a musician's lyric. If it meant something to you, it is a reasonable thing to want on a shoe.
Painted, which is why it looks like that
A printed character is flat, and up close you can see the dots. A transferred one lifts at the edges the first time the shoe creases properly.
These are painted with a brush, in leather paint, by one artist, over two to four days. That is why the linework holds its weight and why the colour sits in the leather rather than on top of it. It is also why we cannot paint you an exact copy of one of these: a brushstroke cannot be run again the way a print can.
Bring a character we have not painted
Most of the work on this line is not in the gallery, because most of it was commissioned rather than chosen. Bring a screenshot, a frame, a panel or a name, and your artist paints your version of it.
The commission price does not change with the character, the number of colours or how hard the face is to draw. One flat figure, whatever you ask for.

Can you paint a specific anime character?
Yes. Bring a screenshot or a frame and your artist paints their version of it, freehand. Anime is the most requested part of this line.
Does a complicated character cost more?
No. A signature pair is Rs 45,000 whatever is painted on it. A portrait across both shoes and a single line of script are the same price.
Can you paint a character onto shoes I already own?
Yes. Post us a clean pair and painting it is Rs 15,000. The shoe is yours, so you are paying for the work alone.
Will the character crack or fade when I wear them?
No. Leather paint moves with the shoe and the pair is sealed and waterproofed afterwards, which is the part cheap acrylic skips.
