Measured, Not Guessed
A bespoke pair is built on a last for one pair of feet. There is no second one on a shelf and no exchange afterwards, so the size cannot be a guess dressed up as a conversion chart. We measure you first, or we measure you after you order. Either way, nothing is cut until you have seen the size and agreed it.
None of this is required. It is the sort of thing a shoemaker would ask you across a counter, and every line of it saves a round of messages later.
Nothing is charged here, and this does not order a pair.
What Happens Next
- 01You askTell us your name, a WhatsApp number, and which shoe you have in mind. Nothing is charged and nothing is committed.
- 02A person reads itEvery request is read by someone in the studio. If we cannot make what you are asking for, we say so plainly rather than taking the order.
- 03We measure youWe send a private link. You draw round both feet on a sheet of A4, photograph it, and the engine reads the outline: length, width across the ball, and how the two feet differ from each other.
- 04We agree the size in writingThe engine measures. A person decides, because the answer depends on the last, the leather and how you like a shoe to sit. You see the size before anything is cut.
A Note on Sneakers
This room is for shoes the studio makes. A Signature is painted onto a brand-new Nike Air Force 1, which is a mass-produced shoe with a published size run, so the ordinary conversion chart is the right tool for it and you will find it on the size guide. If you are between sizes there, or a shoe has never quite fitted you, you are welcome to ask for a fitting here instead.
