The Gift That Ends the Gift Problem: A Pair Painted for One Person

1 August 2026 · 3 min read

Every gift-giver knows the quiet defeat of giving something replaceable. The way out is specificity: a gift that could only belong to one person. A hand-painted pair commissioned around their story — their city, their team, their late father's handwriting, their daughter's first drawing — cannot be regifted, replaced or repeated.

The logistics of surprise are simple: you brief us in secret, the thread stays with you, and the box arrives when you want it to. You will need their size (check a pair they already wear) and their story, which you already know better than they suspect.

Some of the studio's favourite commissions were gifts: a mother's dua painted for a son leaving for university; a groom surprised by his bride with the mountain he proposed on; an office pooling for a retiring mentor's forty years, panel by panel.

If their exact size has left our shelf, remember the gift does not have to fit your own feet to be perfect — and message us before guessing between two sizes. We would rather help you choose than repaint history.
